Bisons have not always lived in North America. They are relative new comers. They belong to The Bovidae family, like domestic castle and the wild buffalo of Africa and Asia. The oldest known bison fossils have been found in China and The Himalaya Foothill, where an animal with all those essential features of the genus lived in million years ago. They evolved rapidly and spread over most of the northern hemisphere in Europe and Siberia. During one of the Ice Ages, the sea level dropped, exposing a land bridge across The Bering Strait allowing the faunas of Asia and North America to intermingle. Very clearly, the steppe bison moved eastward to the North American Continent.

Mecca is Islam’s holiest city, home to Kaaba shrine and the Grand Mosque. The city is known for the annual Hajj pilgrimage, one of the five pillars of Islam. In the 6th century, the Islamic prophet Muhammad, proclaimed Islam in the city. The city played an important role in early history of Islam and now it is an important trading center. After 966, Mecca was led by local Sharifs, until 1924 when it came under the rule of the Saudis. In modern period, Mecca has seen a great expansion in size and infrastructure.
The modern day city is located in the capital of Saudy Arabia’s Makkah Province, in the historic Hejaz region. With a population of 1,700,000 (2008), the city located 73 kilometers (4miles) inland from Jeddah, in a narrow valley, and 277 metes (910 ft) above sea level.

Many years ago in Serawak, there were six girls who were good friends. The most beautiful of all was Gayah. She was the cleverest too.
One day they went to a jungle to collect some wild fruit. They lost their way. When night came, they saw a bright fire a way. They walked towards it. There was a little old woman sitting in front of it. The old woman gave them some cakes but Gayah asked her friends not to eat them. She knew that the old woman was a witch. Because of it the old woman tied them up with a long rope.
Fortunately, they could untie the rope and they ran away to the river. When they arrived at the bank river, they saw a crocodile, They asked the crocodile to cross them one by one. The crocodile agreed but he wanted one of them to eat as a reward. Gayah agreed and she said that the crocodile could eat the sixth girl. Before Gayah crossed the river she asked one of her friends to cross the river at the same time as the fifth girl by hanging on the crocodile’s tail.
When the fifth girl finished to cross the river, the crocodile waited for the sixth girl. A few minutes later the witch ran down the edge of the river to chase the girls. The crocodile thought that she was the sixth girl, so without thinking any longer, the crocodile caught her in his mouth. Finally all the girls were safe and they promised not to go to the jungle any more.
